THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Domestic Violence Case Manager to join our Northern Suburbs Accommodation Program.
In this role, you'll work directly with women and children experiencing domestic and family violence, helping them navigate crisis, increase their safety, and work towards their goals for the future.
You will:
- Conduct risk & safety assessments and establish client needs;
- Provide crisis intervention, advocacy and case management support;
- Develop and implement client-centred safety and support plans;
- Work collaboratively with internal and external services to achieve positive outcomes for clients;
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
This is a full time, fixed term contract until 30 June 2027, located at our Northern suburbs site.
While ongoing employment beyond the contract period cannot be guaranteed, WSSSA is a growing organisation that actively supports internal mobility and career development. We regularly recruit across multiple programs and locations, and there may be future opportunities for high-performing employees beyond the life of this contract.

ABOUT YOU
You are a capable and adaptable practitioner who can remain calm under pressure while building trusting relationships with women and children from diverse backgrounds.
To be successful, you will have:
- A degree qualification (or be working towards one) in Social Work or a related discipline, or equivalent experience relevant to the role.
- Significant experience in case management, crisis intervention or case work within a domestic and family violence or related sector.
- Knowledge of risk assessment, safety planning and trauma-informed practice.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and advocacy skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and complex case loads.
- Experience maintaining electronic client records and case notes with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to participate in an on-call roster as required.
- A current full drivers licence, and be eligible for, or hold a DHS Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
