THE ROLE
The Northern Hub is a collaborative partnership between WSSSA, SA Police and a range of other key service providers. The Coordinator position provides a pivotal role in the coordination and collaboration of the Hub’s services to alleviate the effects of domestic and family violence in families.
The Coordinator will have oversight of all partners, including responsibility for program evaluation processes, facilitation of regular partnership meetings between all Hub partners and maintaining timely communication between partners. They will also be responsible for referrals, coordination of case conferences and reviews, and oversight of community development activities and strategic partnerships.
This newly created position gives an opportunity for a fixed term contract to 30 June 2027, working part time 60 Hours per fortnight (0.8FTE), based at our Northern suburbs site.

ABOUT YOU
The successful applicant will have had experience in developing, implementing and overseeing the delivery of quality programs to women and children affected by domestic & family violence or closely related field. To succeed in this challenging and rewarding role you will also need:.
- A degree level qualification in Social Work or hold a tertiary qualification in Social Science, Community Service, Psychology, Counselling or other relevant qualification, with extensive experience commensurate with the position.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with a proven ability to manage a team, and develop, implement and oversee the delivery of quality programs to women and children affected by domestic and family violence;
- Demonstrated experience in managing and negotiating complex stakeholder environments;
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships an=with diverse range of marginalised and highly vulnerable people including First Nations, CALD and LGBTQ+ communities;
- Ability to develop and maintain partnerships with a wide range of organisations and agencies;
- Ability to work in partnerships within complex reporting relationships;
- High level of written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise, negotiate, advocate and resolve conflict;
- A current full drivers licence, and be eligible for, or hold a DHS Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
